Conrad Centennial Singapore
The Conrad Centennial Singapore is a five-star hotel in Singapore . It was opened in 1996 as the second Asian hotel of the Conrad Hotels hotel chain founded in 1982 by Barron Hilton , son of hotelier Conrad Nicholson Hilton , in the city-state's Marina Bay business district .
It was the first hotel in Singapore to meet the People Developer Standard in 1998 . In 2001 and the following year it received an award for “Best 5-Star Business Hotel in Singapore” .
The architect of the Conrad Centennial Singapore was the American John Burgee . The 31-story building has 512 rooms, including 25 suites , three restaurants , several bars , a fitness center , conference rooms and other facilities. There is no jacuzzi .
