William Barron Hilton (born October 23, 1927 in Dallas , Texas - † September 19, 2019 ) was an American billionaire. He was heir to the Hilton hotel chain founded in 1919 .

He was the second son of hotel founders Conrad Hilton and Mary Adelaide Barron . His brothers are Erik Hilton and Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr. , the first husband of actress Elizabeth Taylor (1950). He had a younger half-sister, Constance Francesca Hilton , daughter of Zsa Zsa Gabor . Barron Hilton was the grandfather of the Paris and Nicky Hilton sisters .

Hilton married Marilyn Hawley (February 11, 1928 - March 2004) with whom he had eight children: William Barron Hilton, Jr. (* 1948), Hawley Anne Hilton (* 1949), Stephen Michael Hilton (* 1950) , David Alan Hilton (* 1952), Sharon Constance Hilton (* 1953), Richard Howard Hilton (* 1955), Daniel Kevin Hilton (* 1962) and Ronald Jeffrey Hilton (* 1963).

His son Richard Hilton is the father of Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, another grandson is Barron Hilton of the same name.
