Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr.
Conrad Nicholson "Nicky" Hilton, Jr. (born July 6, 1926 in Dallas , † February 5, 1969 in Los Angeles ) was an American businessman, manager and board member at Trans World Airlines . He is best known as the son of the founder of the hotel chain of the same name , Conrad Nicholson Hilton , and as the husband of Elizabeth Taylor .
Life
Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr., was the son of hotelier Conrad Hilton and his first wife Mary Adelaide Barron. Hilton grew up with three younger siblings: Barron , who took over the hotel chain in 1966, Eric and Constance Francesca. The mother of the half-sister Francesca was Zsa Zsa Gabor .
Hilton was a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and École Hôtelière in Lausanne and later worked in the management of the Hilton International Company . From 1950 to 1951 he was married to Elizabeth Taylor and from 1958 to the oil heiress Patricia McClintock, with whom he had two sons. Hilton died of a heart attack at the age of 42 . He is buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City .
