Nicholai "Nicky" Olivia Rothschild (born Hilton; born October 5, 1983 in New York City ) is an American model , entrepreneur , designer and hotel heiress. She is the sister of the It girl Paris Hilton .

biography

Hilton is the second daughter of Richard Howard Hilton and Katherine Richards Hilton , who produce television series such as The Fear Factor and the reality show The Good Life . She is two and a half years younger than her sister Paris Hilton and has two younger brothers, Barron Nicholas and Conrad Hughes Hilton. Her paternal grandparents are William Barron Hilton and Marilyn Hawley . Her great grandfather, Conrad Hilton , is the founder of the Hilton hotel chain. She spent her childhood in a mansion in Beverly Hills . As a teenager, she lived in a suite with a terrace in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel at 301 Park Avenue in Manhattan , the head office of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts . After graduating from Buckley School in Sherman Oaks , California, she studied design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

On August 15, 2004, Hilton married Todd Andrew Meister in a Las Vegas wedding chapel . However, the marriage was annulled on November 9, 2004. Years later, on July 10, 2015, Hilton entered into her second marriage to James Rothschild, a member of the Rothschild banking family . The ceremony took place in the orangery of Kensington Palace in London. They have two daughters (* 2016 and * 2017).

Career

Hilton is known in public, just like her sister, for her jet set lifestyle, although she is now more in the background of the clan. In addition to a jewelry collection that she designed with her sister Paris, she designed a handbag collection for the Japanese brand Samantha Thavasa .

After Chick by Nicky Hilton , Hilton launched her second own fashion collection called Nicky Hilton Beverly Hills in 2006 .

In early July 2006, Hilton announced that she wanted to start her own hotel chain. To do this, she wants to renovate two existing hotels first. The hotels on Printer's Row in Chicago and on Ocean Boulevard in Miami were due to open at the beginning of November 2006 . The hotel in Chicago should get a quiet ambience and the hotel in Miami should be converted into a party location. She was supported in her project by star designer Roberto Cavalli , who was to design a suite. The hotel chain was to be called Nicky O South Beach . After financial difficulties at the construction company, the project was ended.
