The member states of the Conseil de l'Entente

The Conseil de l'Entente is a regional organization in West Africa . Founded in 1959 by the then Dahomey , Upper Volta , Ivory Coast and Niger as the successor organization to the Union Sahel-Benin , it united the former French colonies in West Africa, which were friendly to France . Togo joined the organization in 1966. The headquarters of the organization is in Abidjan .
