Captain Dike Conger is tasked by the army command with convincing the conservative elements in the 31st Cavalry Regiment of the advantages of the newly developed small tanks in the field. He falls head over heels in love with Julie Armstrong, the commandant's daughter. Together they manage to prove the superiority of the tanks. The commander and his best friend are killed in an attack on Dike. Intrigue leads a military court to convict Dike, but Julie ends up revealing the truth and the real culprit is caught.
