Ernest Miller
Ernest Miller (born March 7, 1885 in Pasadena , California , † April 23, 1957 in Los Angeles , California) was an American cameraman.
Life
Miller began working as a cameraman in the early 1920s. Until the 1950s he was only involved in cinema productions, then, from 1953, mainly in series and television films. In total, Miller shot more than 300 productions. Directors with whom he worked frequently were Ray Taylor and Thomas Carr.
His work on the film Army Girl resulted in an Oscar nomination for him and his colleague Harry J. Wild in the category Best Cinematography in 1939 .
