Constantin Luser

Constantin Luser (* 1976 in Graz ) is an Austrian artist who lives and works in Vienna and Graz.

Life

Constantin Luser attended the Graz Academic High School from 1988 to 1995 , then studied Industrial Design from 1995 to 1999 at the Graz University of Applied Sciences , at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, conceptual art with Renée Green and Marina Grzinic (1999-2001) and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna Visual Media with Brigitte Kowanz (1999–2004).

Constantin Luser's drawings are geographical implementations of thoughts, technically complex systems with many levels of words, ciphers, symbols , abstract and figurative elements. Constantin Luser's visual reference to computer graphics creates a content-related relationship to digital information processing and is noticeable through fine and precise lines, which define levels, develop structures, establish relationships and enable orientation.

His work was shown in the exhibition Handlungswolken in 2008 at the Augarten Contemporary ( Museum Belvedere ) in Vienna. In the group exhibition Lives and Works in Vienna III , works by him can be seen from May 2010 in the Kunsthalle Wien . In 2005 he exhibited at the Vienna Museum (animals in the big city), in 2008 at the Museum der Moderne in Salzburg (Sound of Art) and at the Stedelijk Museum s'-Hertogenbosch (multitasking synchronicity as a cultural practice) together with other artists.
