Container 25
The Kulturinitiative Container 25 is an independent association for the promotion of art and culture in the community of Wolfsberg and maintains events in the fields of music, literature as well as visual and performing arts.
General
Container 25 was founded in 2009 as an alternative cultural site in Wolfsberg and the surrounding area in Hattendorf and has been located there ever since. According to the association's own interpretation, Container 25 is a “social and cultural-political experiment” that speaks out “against racism, fascism, homophobia, sexism and other forms of violence in systems”. His events are particularly characterized by their small artistic character with an intimate atmosphere between artists and audience.
The association organizes around 35 events annually (as of 2018). Artists who have performed so far include Voodoo Jürgens , Der Nino from Vienna , 5K HD , Stefanie Sprengnagel and Egyd Gstättner .
