The Contell Glacier ( Spanish Glaciar Contell ) is a glacier on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows west to South Bay , which it reaches on the north side of Johnson's Dock .
Spanish scientists named it in 1988. The further naming background is not known. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee adopted the Spanish name in 1994 and translated it into English.
