Constituency location in Sydney , New South Wales .

Cook is one of 150 constituencies used to elect the Australian House of Representatives . It is located in the metropolitan area of Sydney in the Australian state of New South Wales . The constituency includes the southern boroughs of Caringbah , Cronulla , Miranda and Sylvania .

It was named after the British navigator and explorer James Cook and was laid out in 1969. Since 2007 Scott Morrison of the Liberal Party of Australia has been the incumbent MP for the constituency.
