Cookie is a Japanese manga magazine aimed at an audience of older female teenagers. It is part of the Shōjo - or the Josei category. It was created in 1999 from the sister magazine Ribon and is the most popular in its target age group. The sales figures were still at 175,000 in 2008, they fell to 48,000 by 2016. Cookie appears every odd month on the 26th at the publisher Shueisha .
