Cool Feet is a rock band from Luxembourg founded in 1968 . Initially, Cool Feet sang in English , but since 1980 they have only published music with Luxembourgish lyrics.

Band history

In 1968 Rich Ruppel (drums), Mike Nash (bass / vocals) and Romain Goergen (guitar / vocals) founded the band and initially played hard rock with English lyrics. In 1976 the first single ( Mister Woman ) was released; 1978 the first LP ( Burning Desire ).

With the arrival of the new front man Rom Bernard in 1980, the sound of Cool Feets changed in the direction of blues rock / pop rock, and the first single with Luxembourgish lyrics was released ("Oh Häerzi, do deng Nues mol from / Mäi beschte Frënd").

After guitarist Guy Heintz joined the band, Cool Feet released the album Bistro in 1992 , which reached platinum status. The decoupled single "Drenken e Patt op mech" stayed at number 1 on the national charts for 3 months. This was followed by a phase of intensive work with numerous appearances and the release of 13 further CDs by 2001.

After 2001 appearances became less frequent. The studio album Luxemburgensia was released in 2003 and Best of Party in 2006 .
