Corkscrew in Silverwood Theme Park ( Athol , Idaho , USA ) is a steel roller coaster model Corkscrew by the manufacturer Arrow Dynamics , which opened in 1990. It originally opened in 1975 at Knott's Berry Farm , also as Corkscrew .
When it opened at Knott's Berry Farm, it was the first steel roller coaster in the world to be fitted with inversions . At the same time, it was the first roller coaster on which two inversions were installed. Two identical systems followed Corkscrew: Chicago Loop in Old Chicago was also opened in 1975 and is now Canobie Corkscrew in Canobie Lake Park . Python in Busch Gardens Africa opened a year later.
