Cormorant Iceland (of English cormorant , cormorant ' ) is an island off the southern coast of Anvers Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located 4 km east-southeast of Bonaparte Point .

The island was first recorded on an Argentine map from 1954, unbanned. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1958 after the cormorants that can be found here in large numbers .
