Cornelia Bera

Cornelia Bera (born April 5, 1959 in Berlin ) is a German author.

Life

Bera grew up in Berlin and trained as a gardener after the 10th grade. In 1979 she passed the Abitur and then studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin, Horticulture Section . Since 1984 she worked as a qualified horticultural engineer. In 1987 she moved to the Gorinsee settlement near Schönwalde with her husband and two children. From 1989 to 2004 she was in charge of the library in Schönwalde .

From 1991 she worked in the book trade and in various libraries. She has been working as a freelance writer since 2003 and is on the road with “literary readings” and “fairy tales from the chest” in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Cornelia Bera published her first poem in 1971.
