The Cumpston Glacier is a small glacier on the Foyn coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows into the head end of Mill Inlet between the Breitfuß and Quartermain glaciers .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier on July 21, 1976 after the Australian polar historian John Stanley Cumpston (1909-1986) from the Australian Foreign Ministry, who published a map of Antarctica in 1939 together with the cartographer Edward Percival Bayliss from the Australian Interior Ministry .
