The Cornelia Tarn is a small lake on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It lies between the Vahsel glacier and the Pageos moraines .
The lake is named after the American sealer Cornelia from Mystic , Connecticut , who operated in the waters around Heard between 1857 and 1858.
