Tim Jesgarzewski

Tim Jesgarzewski (born August 26, 1978 in Bremen ) is a German legal scholar .

person

Tim Jesgarzewski grew up in the Osterholz district . From 1999 to 2004 he studied law at the University of Bremen . This was followed in 2005 by a doctorate at the chair of Peter Derleder with the dissertation The limits of formal agreement of unilateral performance determination rights . In 2011 Jesgarzewski was appointed professor for labor and commercial law at the FOM University of Economics and Management Bremen. Since 2015 he has been Scientific Director of the Competence Center for Business Law (KCW) based in Hamburg.

After completing his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Celle from 2005 to 2007, he became a lawyer in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Jesgarzewski works there as a specialist lawyer for labor law, family law and traffic law. Jesgarzewski also trains specialist lawyers and trains and advises works councils.

Honorary positions and functions

Tim Jesgarzewski has been a member of the city council of Osterholz-Scharmbeck since 2001 and has been a member of the Osterholz district and first deputy district administrator since 2011. He is also a member or chairman of various supervisory bodies as follows:

• Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Osterholzer Stadtwerke GmbH & Co. KG
• Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Rotenburg Osterholz
• Chairman of the shareholders' meeting of waste service Osterholz GmbH

Memberships

Jesgarzewski is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). He is also a member of the German Red Cross (DRK) and the Social Association Germany (SoVD).
