Cornelia Teubner

Cornelia Teubner (born April 15, 1971 ) is a former German disabled athlete .

Athletic career

Cornelia Teubner was a track and field athlete who specialized in short running distances . As a member of the German national handicapped athletics team, she took part in two Paralympic summer games. At the 1992 Paralympic Summer Games in Barcelona , she won a silver medal in the 100-meter run in the C 5-6 performance group . At the World Athletics Championships for the disabled in 1994 , she was world champion in the same discipline. She took third place at the 1996 Summer Paralympics .

For winning a medal in 1992, she was awarded the silver bay leaf .
