Cornelie Lechler

Cornelie Lechler (born April 20, 1857 in Winnenden ; † 1950) was a German writer.

Life

Cornelie Lechler wrote verses and short stories for toddlers; possibly she also translated from English. She wrote about 200 children's books. According to the catalog text for the Stuttgart Antiquarian Book Fair 2018, she lived in Winnenden all her life; however, the Lexicon of German Women in Feather 1898 mentions the address Schillerstrasse 4 in Ludwigsburg as her place of residence.
