Cornon

Cornon (alternative spelling: "Kornon") describes a very loud and widely mensored military - or cavalry - French horn , which was brought into trade by Václav František Červený . There were variants in tuba , elliptical , semi-elliptical or helical shape with three cylinder or pump valves . In 1846 an F-Bass was brought out, and in 1872 a whole Konrnon register of alto, tenor, bass and double bass in the Eb tuning .
