Corpus philosophorum medii aevi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Corpus philosophorum medii aevi is a project directed by William D. Ross on behalf of the Union Académique Internationale for the edition of philosophical texts from the Middle Ages. The project was proposed by C. Michalski, the representative of the Polska Akademia Nauk (Académie polonaise des Sciences) in Kraków and accepted in 1929. Today it includes the authors and texts given below that have been translated into Latin from foreign languages. Only the two volumes on Byzantine philosophy present exclusively Greek texts.
