Aristotle Latinus
The Aristotle Latinus is a project for the text-critical edition of all medieval translations of the works of Aristotle from Greek into Latin . It is a sub-project of the Corpus philosophorum medii aevi and is directed and supported by the Union Académique Internationale .
The Belgian scholar Augustin Mansion was the head of the project from 1931 to 1938. Lorenzo Minio Paluello took over the management in 1947 and held it until 1972. Gerard Verbeke headed the project from 1973, Jozef Brams from 2001 , Carlos Steel from 2003 . Currently 27 volumes have already been published.
A sub-project is the Aristoteles Semitico-Latinus , which Hendrik Joan Drossaart Lulofs spun off in 1971 in collaboration with Lorenzo Minio-Paluello .
