Corran Hocking

Corran Hocking (born July 29, 1980 ) is a retired Australian weightlifter .

He was Australian Champion in the over 105kg class in 1999 and 2004. He won the bronze medal at the 2000 Ocean Championships and took part in the 2001 Southeast Asian Games. At the Commonwealth Games in 2002 , he won bronze in a duel and silver in jerking. In 2003 he finished 21st at the World Championships . At the 2004 Ocean Championships, he won silver. In 2005 Hocking tested positive for BZP and banned for two years because of doping . After his suspension, he finished 16th at the 2009 World Championships . In 2010 he won bronze at the Ocean Championships.
