Martin Gantenbein

Martin Gantenbein (born May 17, 1959 in Grabs / SG) is a Swiss musician and composer .

Life

Martin Gantenbein studied German language and literature , literary criticism and journalism at the University of Basel and the University of Zurich .

Since 1974 he has been working as a drummer and composer in experimental rock formations and free improvisation groups with performances at home and abroad and various CD releases, for example in:

  • Allez les Cactus, Popfood, Out of Order Orchestra, Erbsline, Affront perdu, Frank & Frei, Schlieremer Chind , Heilige Bimbam, No Secrets in the Family.

Since 1994 he has been writing incidental music for various theaters and the independent scene, including Far A Day Cage and 400asa . He is a co-founder and was musical director, musician, actor and production manager of the free music theater formation Mass & Fieber from 1999 to 2012:
