Hannes Glarner

Hannes Glarner (* 6. September 1960 in Zurich ) is a Swiss playwright , actor and director .

Life

In Switzerland, he attended several schools and studied literature and musicology at the University of Zurich . In 1991 he received his doctorate in the field of “ Storm and Drang ”. From 1989 to 1993 he was assistant director and dramaturge at the Schauspielhaus Zurich . Since 1993 Glarner has been a freelance author, actor and director at various theaters in Switzerland and Germany , including the State Theater Stuttgart , Theater Basel , Theater Neumarkt , and Schauspielhaus Zurich. Since 1995 he has also worked as a radio play writer and director for Swiss radio DRS 1 and 2 .
