Rolf Beab

Rolf Beab (born January 4, 1964 in Helmstedt ) is a German swimmer who was active in the late 1980s. He won four German championship titles and was also successful internationally.

Beab is now an IT entrepreneur and lives in Dormagen . He has a son.

1985 in Sofia he won the 100 m breaststroke in 1: 03.58 minutes, the silver medal behind the Briton Adrian Moorhouse (gold in 1: 02.99 minutes). In addition, he was a member of the 4 × 100-meter layer relay , which won the gold medal in 3: 43.59 minutes ahead of the GDR (silver in 3: 45.35 minutes).
