Cortney Tidwell

Cortney Tidwell (born 1972 in Nashville , Tennessee ) is an American singer and lyricist.

Life

Tidwell comes from a family of musicians: grandfather, Slim Williamson, was the owner of various record labels such as Chart Records , her father, Cliff Williamson, was a record producer and A&R at record companies, and her mother was singer Connie Eaton. The entire family appeared on or was affiliated with the show in one way or another on the Nashville radio show Grand Ole Opry, which has been produced weekly since 1925 .

Tidwell attended college for two years after high school in Nashville , but never graduated because she wanted to devote herself fully to music.

Cortney Tidwell is married to Todd Tidwell, who is her right-hand man in music production. The couple have two children and the family lives in Nashville.
