Cory Panshin

Cory Seidman Panshin (born 1947 ) is an American science fiction writer and critic.

She has been married to Alexei Panshin , who is also a science fiction writer and critic, since 1969 . She has worked with him regularly since 1975. So she wrote the fantasy novel Earth Magic (1978) with him , which was originally published in sequels in Fantastic magazine under the title The Son of Black Morca .

The collaboration between Cory and Alexei Panshin mainly relates to their critical work. Together they wrote a large number of reviews and essays. Their main work in this area, on which they both worked for many years, is The World Beyond the Hill , an extensive science fiction story that appeared in 1989 and for which both won the Hugo Award for best non-fiction book in 1990. The World Beyond the Hill took second place at the Locus Awards in 1990 .
