Corydalis alkaloids are natural substances of the isoquinoline alkaloid type.

Occurrence

Corydalis alkaloids are found in the roots of the Hollow Larkspur and some other Corydalis species.

Representative

The Corydalis alkaloids include d- tetrahydrocoptisin (also known as d- or (+) - stylopine ), d- canadin and hydrohydrastinine .

properties

The Corydalis alkaloids act z. T. narcotic and muskellähmend . The powdered rhizomes of the Corydalis alkaloid-containing plants were popularly used in the past as a worming and menstrual aid.
