Cosima Lange

Cosima Lange (born September 5, 1976 in Hamburg ) is a German author , film producer and film director . She regularly oversees the Arte short film production and gives film seminars worldwide.

Life and career

After two years of internships and assistants in the film sector, Cosima Lange studied production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy from 1998 to 2003 and received her diploma in production in 2003. After completing her studies, she works u. a. as production manager for the short film series of the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris on behalf of Arte.

In January 2005, Cosima Lange and Nina Klingen founded the production company “flying fishes film”, which was dissolved again in January 2008 and converted into a creative writer and director community “flying fishes creative pool”.

On December 25th, 2015 her documentary about David Helfgott started Hello I Am David! A trip with David Helfgott to Austrian cinemas, January 7th 2016 to Swiss German cinemas and January 21st to German cinemas.
