Cosmopolia is the second studio album by rapper Lia 74 .
Emergence
After Lia 74 had released her debut album With Different Eyes two years ago , she devoted herself to work on a successor. While the former was mainly devoted to battle rap , the next work should be more personal. The album title should contain the word "Lia". When the artist became aware of the lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan on the way , she finally came across "Cosmopolia". The album was produced by Benjamin "Ben" Lindner.
layout
The cover photo was taken in downtown Stuttgart . It shows the artist kneeling with sunglasses in her right hand, her head overexposed.

Lyrics and music
Musically, Cosmopolia was more diverse than with other eyes . The lyrics are mainly about interpersonal relationships and problems.
Sexytime is about being in love and being shy. In Freak it comes to life after a relationship, the end of which is represented as a liberation. In Come on Clear , women are criticized who only pay attention to their appearance and other superficialities. I want out is about a sick love. Ab, ab, ab ... and Come with each thematize a party. The title track, which processes musical influences from the ambient , describes a paradisiacal state. You're wrong deals with wrong friends.
reception
At rap4Fame.de the album is rated on average and awarded a total of three out of five crowns. The content is "not exactly varied" and "sometimes extremely kitschy" . It is also criticized that it gives the impression that it was "specially designed for a female audience" . However, Lia's competence as a rapper is not questioned: “It takes time to get used to this album. Once you have got used to the conditions, you can definitely enjoy the record. Because Lia herself proves on her second album that she doesn't need to hide from male competition in terms of rap technique. "
promotion
At the end of 2010 a video was made about Be friends . It is in black and white and shows the artist partly in a car and partly in a snow-covered landscape.
