Lia (born September 1, 1987 in Bietigheim-Bissingen ; bourgeois Julia Jurewitsch ) is a German producer and rapper with Ukrainian roots from Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart .

biography

Lia grew up as the daughter of a guitarist and singer in a Russian-German band in Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart. At the age of 16 she finally began to write her first lyrics and to rap them. At first she did this entirely in English before switching to German . Together with Kiddo , she recorded them at home and posted their songs on the Internet for download . This is how the EP Punchlinehagel and the collab album Auf dem Weg nach oben mit Kiddo came about . She also distributed promotional CDs for the EP in town . This is how the independent label Jamberg Entertainment became aware of Lia. There they contributed only a few songs for Labelsampler Jamberg you are evil in before the label under contract was taken. After that, Lia was mainly heard on records from other rap artists. In 2006 it was again featured on the label sampler When the Jamberg Bomb Rolls Over Your Heads .
