Cososus

Cososus is the name of a Gaulish god who, according to the Interpretatio Romana, is equated with Mars .

Mars Cososus is named in a single dedicatory inscription from Levroux ( Bituriges Cubi , Roman province of Aquitaine ) near Bourges :

FLAVIA CUBA / FIRMANI FILIA / COSOSO DEO MARTI SUO / HOC SIGNUM DONAVIT / AUGUSTO
