The Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA is one on the asset management specialist Swiss bank based in Geneva. It is a subsidiary of the French Crédit Agricole and was created in 2005 through the merger of Crédit Lyonnais (Suisse) SA and Crédit Agricole Indosuez (Suisse) SA .
Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA is mainly active in asset management for private and institutional investors as well as in the lending business. With a consolidated balance sheet total of CHF 29.3 billion, it is the third largest foreign-controlled bank in Switzerland and the ninth largest overall. The managed assets amount to around CHF 52 billion. The company employs 1,156 people and generated a net profit of CHF 197 million in 2006. In addition to its headquarters in Geneva, the bank is in Zurich, Basel, Lausanne, Lugano, Hong Kong and Singapore , Beirut, Montevideo, Nassau (Bahamas), Karachi and London.
