Crepe Romain

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crêpe Romain is a heavy, finely grained and opaque textile fabric.

It is a real crepe fabric with Crêpegarnen in chain and weft , with an alternating twist (torsion) 2S / SZ in basket weave or plain weave . Crepe Romain is a fine fabric in a Panama weave similar to crepe georgette . The alternating two warp and weft crepe threads give the surface a fine, diamond-like appearance.
