The Cracktrack Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . From the center of the Homerun Range it flows westward into the upper section of the Tucker Glacier in the Admiralty Mountains .
The glacier was used by Robert H. Findlay's geological team as part of a 1981 to 1982 campaign of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program as an ascent route to the field firn field . It was named after the fact that the team tore the crawler belt of a snowmobile and had to be temporarily repaired.
