The Homerun Range is a north-west facing mountain range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends with a length of 45 km and a width between 3 and 11 km east of the Everett Range at the head ends of the Ebbe and Tucker glaciers .
The name of the mountain range derives from the naming as Homerun Bluff by participants of the New Zealand Federated Mountain Club Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963). With this they pointed to the course of their journey between the landmarks in this mountain range, the place of their departure and Scott Base , which is reminiscent of a home run over the marks of a baseball field . The United States Geological Survey mapped the entire mountain range based on surveys and aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1963.
