Cranium is a Swedish speed and thrash metal band from Stockholm , which was founded in 1985, later separated again and re-founded in 1996.
history
The band was founded in 1985 by the brothers Philip and Gustaf von Segebaden. In 1986 the band changed their name to Legion, released the demo The Dawn and broke up shortly afterwards. In 1996 the band found their way back together, again using the founding name Cranium.
In 1998 the debut album Speed Metal Slaughter was released , which was released via Necropolis Records . In 1999 the second album Speed Metal Sentence was released , which was released on the same label.

The band plays classic thrash and speed metal, which is comparable to the music of the band Exodus .
