Creones

Celtic tribes in Scotland

The Creones were a Celtic tribe in northern Scotland known only from Ptolemy's " Geographia " . From their general description and the location of their neighboring tribes, it can be concluded that they lived on the west coast of Scotland south of the Isle of Skye and north of the Isle of Mull . Ptolemy does not name any of their cities or main settlements.
