Crick Buttress is a 1050 m high, steep-walled ridge of the Big Ben volcano on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It extends from Budd Ridge to the head of the Fiftyone Glacier .
It is named after John Crick, who was involved in the successful ascent of the Big Ben volcano in 1965 .
