Cris Lewis (born May 10, 1988 in Burien , Washington ) is an American football goalkeeper .

Career

During her studies, Lewis played for the Portland State Vikings, the team at Portland State University, from 2006 to 2009 . In early 2013 she was hired by the Thorns for the newly founded NWSL , but initially removed from the squad. Lewis finally made her league debut on June 1, 2013 over the full season against the Chicago Red Stars as a replacement for Karina LeBlanc . This was her only season assignment for Portland, which she initially left at the end of the season. In June 2014, Lewis was reassigned to the Thorns squad as a reserve player.
