Cristian Souza , full name Cristian Souza España , (born August 28, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.71 meter tall midfielder Souza played in youth football in 2012 in the team of the Quinta División for Central Español . In both 2013 and 2014 he was a member of both the U-19 team in the Cuarta División and the reserve in Tercera División. From 2015 he continued his career at Club Atlético Rentistas in the reserve (Formativas) of the Tercera División. He made his debut in the Primera División in Apertura 2015 on October 19, 2015 in the 0-1 away defeat against Club Atlético Peñarol when he was substituted on by coach Valentín Villazán in the 66th minute for Matías Mier . In the 2015/16 season he played 16 first division matches (no goal). After his club's relegation at the end of the season, he joined Danubio FC in July 2016 , for whom he made five top division games (no goal) in the 2016 season. At the end of January 2017 he was loaned to Sud América .
