Csaba Sógor

Csaba Sógor (born May 12, 1964 in Arad ) is a Romanian politician of the Hungarian minority ( UDMR ).

Sógor completed theological studies at the Universities of Zurich and Basel, the Protestant Theological Institute in Sibiu and Protestant theology with a university degree in Cluj. He attended a LEAD Europe course at Imperial College London and a course at the School of Politics in Ovidiu Şincai .

Sógor has been a member of the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania since 1990. He was a reformed pastor in the reformed parish of Ciceu in the Harghita district and ecumenical advisor and advisor for external relations in the reformed diocese for Piatra Craiului . From 2000 to 2007 he was a member of the Romanian Senate , since then he has been a member of the European Parliament .
