The Cubbyhole Cove (from English cubbyhole 'storage room, kabuff' ) is a small bay at the northern end of the Barff Peninsula on the north coast of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located southwest of Cape Douglas .
Lieutenant Commander John M. Chaplin (1888–1977) of the Royal Navy named her in the 1920s as part of the Discovery Investigations .
