The Cuchilla de Belén is a range of hills in Uruguay .

It is located in the north of the country in the Artigas department . There it runs in an east-west direction and serves as a watershed for the catchment areas of the Río Cuareim in the north and the Río Arapey Chico in the south. In the Cuchilla de Belén, in addition to the Río Arapey Chico , the Arroyo Ñaquiñá , the Arroyo Itacumbú , the Arroyo Mandiyú and the Arroyo Guaviyú have their source .

Agate and amethyst are found in the Cuchilla de Belén .
