Cuckney Castle
Cuckney Castle is an abandoned castle in the village of Cuckney between Worksop and Market Warsop in the English county of Nottinghamshire .
The moth was Thomas de Cuckney build. It was razed during the reign of King Stephen after the civil war of anarchy . Today there are only the low remains of a mound , partially enclosed by a wide ditch , and on the west side slight traces of a bailey .
