The CulturCongressCentrum is a culture and congress center in the city of Brandenburg an der Havel . It is the home of the Brandenburger Theater and with it the Brandenburger Symphoniker at the address Grabenstraße 14.

Brandenburger Theater

The home of the Brandenburg Theater has been the CulturCongressCentrum since 2000. It was opened on June 16 after a construction period of around three years. It was built in place of the old stage house which was demolished in 1997. After the Second World War, it had grown structurally through renovations and extensions to the existing town hall. The studio stage, which opened on October 29, 1994, was integrated into the CulturCongressCentrum with a separate entrance in Kanalstrasse. The building has a total of four stages:

  • Studio stage
  • Puppet stage
  • Rehearsal stage

The foyers of the large house and the studio stage are also regularly used.

Further use

In addition to the theater, the rooms and stage including technology are also regularly rented out. A total of 1000 square meters of exhibition space (1500 square meters gross) is available. The event hall in the Great House has an area of ​​420 square meters and has the stage with full technical equipment. This hall can be converted by three large lifting platforms . It is used for trade fairs and celebrations with up to 400 people. Overall, the available space can be expanded to up to 800 square meters.

The studio stage can be used for 280 spectators. Among other things, the meetings of the Brandenburg City Council took place temporarily in 2007 . The foyers with their glass fronts can also be used and rented externally. Both have their own cafeteria .
