Curt Diehm

Curt Diehm (* 1949 ) is a German internist . He is an adjunct professor at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University .

Life

After studying human medicine in Heidelberg, Geneva and Paris, Diehm received his doctorate in 1977 with the thesis "Investigations with a new infarct model on the conscious dog to differentiate drug effects" at the University of Heidelberg. In 1984 he received his habilitation in Heidelberg with the thesis "Carbohydrate and fat metabolism in normal persons and patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease". Diehm is a specialist in internal medicine, cardiology, angiology, phlebology and vascular medicine. From 1991 he was chief physician in the department for internal medicine at the Karlsbad-Langensteinbach Clinic . In 2014, he moved to the Max Grundig Clinic in Bühl as Medical Director and Senior Consultant in Angiology . He is an adjunct professor at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University.

Diehm is chairman of the German League for Combating Vascular Diseases and has published articles for a wider public in popular magazines such as Hörzu .
